FREE INTRODUCTORY EMBODIMENT SESSION
AWAKEN THE SENSES:
Coming home to body and nature
14th September 2025 / 11:30 - 13:00 / Lesnes Abbey Woods
Step into the woodlands and take a pause from your busy mind.
In this gentle mixed-gender session we'll explore what it feels like to truly be in your body and notice the world around you.
Through simple and mindful movement and breathing, and other guided somatic practices, you'll learn to tune in to your sensations, ground yourself in the present and feel more alive both in the body and mind.
You'll have the chance to touch, listen and move with the earth, the trees and your own body, as we practice being fully present.

This group session offers a safe space to just be, and is an introduction to embodiment and somatic practices. It will help you shift out of overthinking, numbness, anxiety and stress, and into somatic awareness, calm, connection and presence.

No experience is needed for this gathering, just curiosity, openness, and a love of being in nature.

WHAT MAKES THIS
Special?
Facilitated by a Trauma-Informed Somatic Coach
I bring deep coaching presence and attunement. The group spaces I hold are containers of safety, and are held with quiet precision, and gentle guidance for somatic inquiry, group reflection and heartfelt sharing . I hold space for your nervous system, for real human emotion, and for what's often unspoken. One of the biggest parts of my role here is to anchor the space with steadiness, compassion, and clarity, so you can engage in the somatic / embodiment session as deeply or as gently as your system allows.

Somatic & Embodied
This gathering involves so much more than talking, and living in the head.
It places focus on the body and the senses. It taps into movement, breath, sound, touch. The mindful or conscious connection with our sensations is welcome... and leads the way... You are invited to listen, feel and attune to what's alive in your body as you relate with yourself, others and the environment around you.

A Space for Presence & Honouring Your Timing
You don't have to speak if you don't want to. When someone does, they are met not managed. Witnessed not fixed. Heard, without judgement. There is no push towards transformation, but when the body is met with kindness, safety and presence, something always begins to shift. Even in stillness.

Real Connection, Rooted in Safety.
Many of us long to feel safe and embodied with self, and with others again. To trust ourselves in connection. This gathering supports building relational safety, slowly and tenderly. With choice, respect, and care at every turn.

A NOTE ON
Depth & Scope
While group sessions, circles and workshops can bring deep insight and connection, they are not a replacement for 1:1 somatic coaching, therapy, or other long-term healing containers - where deep-dive somatic, emotional, mental, and spiritual work takes place.
They are more like a drop-in return to the present moment, with others.

In group gatherings we may name patterns, parts of ourselves, and tendencies.
We may notice how we hold back, avoid, go towards and come alive.
But we are not working directly on those patterns.

We are practicing presence, awareness, connection, and safety in connection.
Which is powerful work in itself
